European Youth Olympic Festival has been successfully completed

29 July 2017

European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) was first introduced back in 1990, by then president of the European Olympic Committees, Mr. Jacques Rogge. The event had been organized with the aim of bringing together young athletes from Europe and introducing them to perspectives of Olympic Movement, as well as sharing Olympic ideals and values.

The most recent, 2017 EYOF event had taken place in Hungarian city of Gyor, starting from 23rd to 30th of July. Athletes from 50 countries had been competing within 10 Olympic disciplines, such as Athletics, Basketball, Canoeing, Cycling, Gymnastics, Handball, Judo, Swimming, Tennis and Volleyball.

As expected, the organizers took each sporting event very seriously, attracting only the most professional administrative teams, which provided efficient and flawless management of competitions. SmartScoring team would like to proudly highlight its input into this distinguished event, as the official scoring and time managers for Artistic Gymnastics competitions among men and women.

2017 European Youth Olympic Festival has also helped to bring European Olympic community together and supported further integration and development of international sports movement. Besides competitions, the events were accompanied by a number of nonsporting events, which helped to celebrate sports and athletes.

For SmartScoring team European Youth Olympic Festival, being an international event – always appeared strategically important, as well as immensely complicated arrangement. Nevertheless, our team managed to meet all expectations and deliver gymnastics events effortlessly.
